Coronavirus Fund Raiser - tea towel
The NHS was formed in 1948 during a period of radical post war restructuring. Now health care would be available to all according to need and, free at the point of use.
It's visionary architect, Aneurin Bevan, declared, "No society can legitimately call itself civilised if a sick person is denied medical aid because of lack of means." It changed many lives for the better, and we still reap the benefits today despite the years of austerity.
The current coronavirus crisis emphasises this need more than ever when no one is immune from potential life threatening illness. I think we are relatively blessed with the provision that we have in this country, but extra help is always welcome at this challenging time.
I have therefore produced this fund raising tea towel which is available at a range of prices according to what you can afford to pay and wish to donate.
