The magisterial Sutton Hoo helmet is reproduced here in the form of a pendant.
The remains of the original 7th century Anglo Saxon helmet were excavated from the site of the magnificient ship in East Anglia in 1939. It is thought to have belonged to King Raedwald and the elaborate decoration and manufacture reflect the high status of the artefact.
